What is a Smart Home?
The Smart Home gives you simple, practical control of your music, movies, TV, lights, sprinklers, gates,
temperature and security system from anywhere in your home.
In the Smart Home, you can (for example):- store your CDs on a central
music store/server and browse and select music from a number of
rooms using various devices including hand held remotes, an iPhone and wall mounted touch screens.
- dock your iPod and browse the music from any room.
- distribute music throughout the home to discrete ceiling speakers
or speakers disguised as art.
- set your favourite music playing in various rooms at the touch of a button
- store and recall a number of lighting scenes
- watch TV in the bathroom.
- distribute BluRay / DVD and Sky throughout the home in high definition
The above can all be controlled from a single remote or touch screen.
The integration of the different systems allows:

– closing the blinds, dimming the lights, dropping the projector screen and starting the movie playing
