As far as the AV side of things is concerned, you can have: Stereo Audio Rooms – rooms with 2 speakers that are able to select music from a central server on which your CDs have been stored, select tracks from an iPod or listen to a radio Stereo Video Rooms – adds the ability to watch films/programs in high definition from a central BluRay or HD Sky Box Home Theatre – the TheatreLinx allows a bespoke home theatre system (of your choice) to be controlled There is an inbuilt intercom which allows inter-room calls and room monitoring (if enabled). When the door-bell rings, the chime plays in selected rooms. The touch-screens or touch pads can be used to speak to the caller and release the gate. The gate CCTV camera can be viewed on the touch-screen. The system can be controlled by: NetStreams' own 7 inch and 4.3 touch screens (see left) NetStreams new TLA250 OLED touch pad - which can be customised to match the wall paper or paint (see above) NEW: iPhone / iTouch software (see left) NEW: Philips Pronto Any reasonably powerful flash enabled web tablet The system is also capable of controlling: Heating and airconditioning Lighting (e.g. Lutron) CCTV Sprinklers etc! Other system features include: Virtually unlimited number of rooms Multiple actions can be triggered from a single button press It is possible to control any room from any room Rooms can be linked and the volumes can optionally be synchronised and controlled as one CDs can be loaded onto a NaimNet server and up to 6 can be played back at once in any combination of rooms.The NaimNet tuner and quad tuner are operated from the touch screens or pads. The DAB meta data (scrolling text) is shown on the touch screens. NetStreams make a 20W and 50W per channel room amplifier and NaimNet make 2 audiophile grade room amplifiers (90W and 110W per channel) You can have quantity as well as quality - when the NaimNet Server is used with a NaimNet amplifier, this gives a high end level of performance comparable with many very expensive hi-fi systems but in multiple rooms. The Server will re-read the CD as it is loaded ensuring that the data stored on the hard disc is as good as or better than what can be read from the CD by a CD player. The stored information is a bit perfect copy of the CD. It is sent over the network to the Room amplifier where it is carefully converted to analogue and amplified using Naim's legendary amplification. Who are NaimNet?
